Bad Moms was a hit comedy that was released in 2016. Which gravitated moms from all over to come to the movie theater. This film was a movie about three overwhelmed and overworked moms that just wanted to be perfect for their kids. Then one day they said forget it and set aside their conventional responsibilities for a little freedom and fun. This film did your more traditional movie distribution route of going to the theaters then On Demand and DVD rental/buy.
Bad Moms took off like a shot, first signing domestic rights to Paramount Pictures. This allowed them to play the movie in a theater. STX Entertainment later bought the distribution rights to the film on August 19, 2016, and then released the film July 29, 2016. 
Bad Moms did not release on to Blu-ray and DVD until November 1, 2016, by Universal Studios Home Entertainment. The box office sales did so well at getting a gross a$113.2 million in the US against their budget of $20 million. Also receiving $183.9 million worldwide. After seeing these numbers so high they later made a second Bad Moms film called Bad Moms Christmas.
